Join us for this terrific hometown festival held on beautiful Chequamegon Bay along the south shore of Lake Superior.
Bay Days offers great, old-fashioned family fun with activities for all ages! Kids will love the baby crawl, toddler run, big wheel and cardboard boat races, not to mention the free 4-H activities. The Little Minnow Kids’ Triathlon provides age-appropriate swimming, running and biking courses for children ages 5-11. Bay Days also features delicious food, arts & crafts, a strongman competition, live music and entertainment, a pie-eating contest, and much more!
Sprint tri-athletes can test their mettle as they swim in the greatest of the Great Lakes, bike throughout this historic city and run along Ashland’s extensive waterfront trail during the Chequamegon Bay Sprint Triathlon, which includes a 500-meter swim, 15-mile bike and 3.1-mile run. And the Bay Days 5K and 10K Fun Run will take runners along the waterfront trail to the marina and back for the 5K and through a tunnel to the striking Pearson Plaza Park and back to the festival grounds for the 10K run.
One of the northland’s most popular summer events, Ashland’s Bay Days Festival is a wonderful way to spend a Wisconsin weekend. Don’t miss out on the memories of a lifetime!
